Indonesian Community Shield
Indonesian Community Shield was a two-team pre-season football match in Indonesia, played before the new season from 2009 to 2013. It was organized by the national association and matched the previous season’s league champion with the Piala Indonesia winner. If a team won both, the league champion faced the cup runner-up instead.
The last edition was in 2013, when Semen Padang defeated Persibo Bojonegoro 4–1. The shield was not held for several years because the Piala Indonesia cup was not held. Earlier, from 1990 to 1992, there was a similar event called the Piala Utama (The Premier Cup); Persebaya Surabaya won in 1990 and Pelita Jaya won in 1992. From 2006 to 2008 there were exhibition matches related to the cup, but no official trophy. No club has won the shield more than once; Persipura, Sriwijaya and Semen Padang each have one title.
