7 Wishes (Night Ranger album)
7 Wishes is the third studio album by the American hard rock band Night Ranger. It was released on May 20, 1985, and produced by Pat Glasser. The album was recorded in several California studios: Recording in Hollywood, Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, and The Site in San Rafael. It runs 42 minutes and 15 seconds and was released by MCA. The music blends hard rock and AOR.
Seven Wishes produced three Billboard Hot 100 hits: Sentimental Street (No. 8), Four in the Morning (I Can’t Take Any More) (No. 19), and Goodbye (No. 17). The line “Four in the Morning” refers to the time of day when Jack Blades wrote the song; he has said he woke up at 4 a.m. with the idea. The track Interstate Love Affair appeared on the soundtrack for the movie Teachers.
