Jack McGrath (footballer)
John Patrick Joseph McGrath (13 February 1924 – 6 June 2013), commonly known as Jack McGrath, was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Born in Colac, Victoria, he came from the Swan Marsh club. He was 180 cm tall and weighed 79 kg. McGrath played from 1948 to 1950, appearing in 7 games and scoring no goals for Geelong. In his last game, against Essendon, he injured his leg, which ended his VFL career. He died in 2013 at age 89.
