On 20 December 2010, at about 11:40 am, a double-decker coach operated by Syarikat Bas SK Murni Tours and Travels crashed near Blue Valley in the Cameron Highlands, close to the Perak–Pahang border (about 129.5 km north-northwest of Kuala Lumpur).

There were 37 passengers on board, mostly Thai tourists. Twenty-seven people were killed and ten were injured.

The driver, Omar Shahidan, lost control while descending an incline on the Second East-West Highway and the bus hit a rocky slope at about 150 km/h.
