3rd Engineer Regiment (Italy)

The 3rd Engineer Regiment, or 3° Reggimento Genio Guastatori, is a combat engineering unit of the Italian Army. It is based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and serves as the engineer component of the Cavalry Brigade "Pozzuolo del Friuli". Its motto is "Arresto e distruggo" and its anniversary is 24 June, marking the end of the Second Battle of the Piave River in 1918. The regiment has earned several medals for valor.
