Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond

Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who was a right winger known for his physical, agitator style on the ice. He is also noted for having one of the longest names in sports. Born on June 4, 1985, in Lévis, Quebec, he stood 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about 215 pounds, shooting left.

Létourneau-Leblond was drafted 216th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He began his professional career in 2005–06, spending time in the UHL and AHL before making his NHL debut with the Devils in the 2008–09 season. He played eight NHL games that year, recording one assist and 22 penalty minutes. In the 2009–10 season, he appeared in 27 NHL games for New Jersey, adding two assists and further AHL experience.

Over the years, he also spent time with the Calgary Flames and Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. He moved through various leagues, including the AHL and ECHL, as well as stints with teams such as the Albany Devils, Albany River Rats, Norfolk Admirals, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, and Adirondack Thunder. His professional career spanned 2005 to 2023, and his NHL totals amount to 41 games, 3 points (0 goals, 3 assists) and 101 penalty minutes.

After a 2017 retirement announcement, Leblond briefly returned to play in the Adirondack Thunder (ECHL) and later competed in leagues in Quebec. In July 2023, he was inducted into the New York Hockey Hall of Fame, highlighting his long career and memorable battles on the ice.
