Much Woolton is a historic suburban area in Liverpool, Merseyside, England, within the Liverpool Wavertree parliamentary constituency. It is bordered by Allerton to the south, Hunt's Cross to the southeast, and Childwall to the north. It used to be part of Lancashire before Merseyside was created. The area has parks and landmarks, including the Church of St Peter and St Paul.

Much Woolton was a Liverpool City Council ward from 1918 to 1953, covering Woolton Village. It elected up to three councillors over time. Notable councillors included John Hinshaw, Robert Gladstone, and Caroline Whiteley, the first woman to represent the ward. Elections were paused during World War II (1939–1944).

In 1953 the ward was abolished and merged into the larger Woolton ward, which from 1953 to 2023 covered Much Woolton (and Little Woolton). Since 2023 the area is part of the Much Woolton & Hunts Cross ward.

Woolton Village lies about 2 miles north-northeast of Garston railway station and about 5 miles southeast of Liverpool city centre.
