William Stenhouse (c. 1773 – 10 November 1827) was a Scottish antiquarian and accountant from Roxburghshire. Born around 1773, he worked as an accountant in Edinburgh and published Tables of Simple Interest and of Commission Brokerage or Exchange (Edinburgh, 1806). He died in Edinburgh on 10 November 1827 and was buried in St Cuthbert's churchyard.

Stenhouse had a strong interest in music. He is best known for notes he contributed to the 1839 Edinburgh reprint of James Johnson's Musical Museum, which he edited. Although his notes are valuable, they contain many inaccuracies and have been widely quoted by biographers of Robert Burns and by editors of Scottish songs. They were reprinted with additions in David Laing's 1853 edition of the Museum.
