Conglomerate 451
Conglomerate 451 is a single-player dungeon crawl game developed by RuneHeads and published by 1C Entertainment. It released on PC in February 2020 and later came to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in June 2021 as Conglomerate 451: Overloaded, published by 34BigThings. The game runs on the Unity engine and is available on Linux, macOS, Windows, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
In the game you command a squad of cloned soldiers fighting to free a cyberpunk city controlled by corrupt megacorporations. It’s a first-person, party-based dungeon crawler with turn-based combat. The world is procedurally generated and you move on a 2D grid. You can recruit new clones, customize them, and they gain new skills over time. If a clone dies, they can suffer permanent injuries and become unplayable. After missions you can research technologies to give your clones special abilities. Each mission lasts one in-game week, and the story ends after 75 weeks. There’s also an endless mode where you can keep running missions without story interruptions.
Conglomerate 451 began in early access on May 23, 2019. The Windows version received mixed or average reviews on Metacritic, while OpenCritic gave it weak approval. Reviewers were divided: some praised clone customization and the options in combat, but others felt the cyberpunk setting was underused and the game didn’t offer enough challenge. Some compared it to classic fantasy dungeon crawlers and noted that the cyberpunk theme is a different skin for familiar mechanics.
