2024 Thomas Cup qualification

The tournament decides 14 of the 16 teams for the 2024 Thomas Cup. China qualifies automatically as hosts, and India automatically as trophy holder. The final tournament will feature 16 teams in total.

Region quotas (same as 2016): Asia 4 teams, Europe 4 teams, Africa 1, Oceania 1, Pan Am 1. The remaining slots are filled by the world team rankings.

African qualification: 12–15 February 2024 at Cairo Stadium Hall 4 in Cairo, Egypt. The winner earns a spot in the Thomas Cup.

Asian qualification: held at Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The semifinalists earn spots.

European qualification: 14–18 February 2024 at Sport Arena Łódź in Łódź, Poland. The semifinalists earn spots.

Oceania qualification: 16–18 February 2024 at Badminton Geelong in Geelong, Australia. The winner earns a spot.

Pan Am qualification: 15–18 February 2024 at Centro Paralímpico Brasilero in São Paulo, Brazil. The winner earns a spot.

World rankings: The remaining spots for the group stage are filled based on the BWF World Team Ranking, calculated by adding the world ranking points of the top three men's singles players and the top two men's doubles pairs as of 20 February 2024.
