2022 Vermont lieutenant gubernatorial election
The 2022 Vermont lieutenant gubernatorial election was held on November 8, 2022. Vermont elects its lieutenant governor separately from the governor, and primaries were on August 9. Incumbent Democrat Molly Gray did not seek another term as lieutenant governor, choosing to run for Congress.
The main contenders were David Zuckerman, the Progressive candidate and a former lieutenant governor, and Joe Benning, the Republican candidate. Zuckerman won with 150,102 votes (53.85%), while Benning received 118,724 votes (42.60%).
