The 34th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards took place on March 13, 2021, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Kenan Thompson hosted the show. It aired live on Nickelodeon and was simulcast across ViacomCBS networks, with many presenters and winners appearing in person due to the pandemic and some virtual appearances. The ceremony used XR technology and included an interactive fan wall to create audience participation.

Justin Bieber performed “Intentions” with Quavo, and also sang “Anyone” and “Hold On” (the latter had been planned for the previous year). The night set a Guinness World Record for the most people slimed online, with 195 participants. BTS won three awards at this ceremony, bringing their total to five Nickelodeon blimps, the most ever won by a music group.

Millie Bobby Brown won both Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite TV Actress in the same show, a rare double win. Kamala Harris appeared via video, and there was an iCarly reunion with Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor, plus Kenan Thompson’s on-screen daughters Dani and Dannah Lane also featured.

Nominees were announced on February 2, 2021, with voting ending on March 13, 2021.
