Ionuț Matei
Ionuț Matei (born July 2, 1984 in Bacău, Romania) is a Romanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for F.C. Romania. He is 1.82 meters tall and has spent his career with several Romanian clubs, starting with FCM Bacău (2003–2007) and Poli Timișoara (2007–2012), with loan spells at FCM Reșița, Ceahlăul, CS Otopeni, FC Botoșani, and Voința Sibiu. He later played for FC Botoșani (2012–2014), Bucovina Rădăuți, and then F.C. Romania. A notable achievement is scoring 9 goals in 14 league appearances for FC Botoșani during the 2010–11 season.
