Rajmahal is a community development block in the Rajmahal subdivision of Sahibganj district, Jharkhand, India. Its headquarters are in Rajmahal town. The block covers 140.76 square kilometers and includes 98 inhabited villages and 49 uninhabited ones.

Population and people
- 2011 census: total population 145,899 (140,563 rural, 5,336 urban)
- Males: 75,153; Females: 70,746
- Children aged 0–6: 29,897
- Literacy: 59,486 literates (51.28% overall; 60% of males and 40% of females; gender gap 20%)
- Languages: Bengali (38.88%), Hindi (32.40%), Khortha (12.21%), Santali (5.61%), Urdu (4.63%), Bhojpuri (2.96%), Kurukh (1.70%)

Social makeup
- Hindus are the largest group; Muslims are a significant minority; Christians and Sarna have smaller numbers.

Geography and boundaries
- Bounded by Amdabad (Katihar, Bihar) across the Ganges to the north; Manikchak and Kaliachak II (Malda, West Bengal) across the Ganges to the east; Farakka (Murshidabad, West Bengal) to the southeast; Udwa to the south; Taljhari and Sahibganj to the west.
- The region features hills, uplands, and fertile plains with the Ganges, Gumani, and Bansloi rivers enriching the land.

- Many people depend on farming. About 80.84% of the area is cultivable; only about 12.83% of the cultivable area is irrigated.

- Education: 5 villages with pre-primary schools; 57 with primary schools; 24 with middle schools; 5 with secondary schools; 43 villages had no educational facility

Rail history
- The Khana Junction–Rajmahal section of the Sahibganj Loop was completed in 1859, and the first train from Howrah to Rajmahal via Khana ran on July 4, 1860.
