The 2021 Bokor City Council election was held on July 25, 2021. It was Bokor City’s first city council election, and the council terms are five years.

Bokor City was created on March 30, 2021, in Kampot province and is named after Bokor Mountain. It includes the Beung Touk, Koh Toch, and Prek Tnout communes, which were part of Teuk Chhou district.

Under the law, new city councils must be elected within 240 days of the city’s founding. Voting rights, however, were limited to the current commune council members, since the three communes already existed. The election was delayed at first because of the COVID-19 situation, but could be scheduled when conditions improved.

Registered parties were the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), the Cambodian Nationality Party (NNP), the Cambodian Youth Party (CYP), and FUNCINPEC. Each party nominated about 26–28 candidates for the council.

Polls opened at 7:00 am and closed at 7:41 am after all 17 councilors had voted. The National Election Committee (NEC) said there were no invalid votes and that counting was fair and transparent, with observers present. Counting finished at 8:08 am.

Result: CPP won all 13 seats. The council requires a majority of 7 seats. Voter turnout was reported as 100%.
