Bailleul, Somme
Bailleul is a small town in northern France. It is a commune in the Somme department, in the Hauts-de-France region. The town is located in the western part of the department, about 5 miles (8 kilometers) south of Abbeville, along the D93 road.
Bailleul covers 18.62 square kilometers. In 2023, about 253 people lived there, giving a population density of around 29 inhabitants per square kilometer.
The town is part of the Abbeville arrondissement and the Gamaches canton, and it belongs to the CA Baie de Somme intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Fabrice Frion.
Elevation ranges from 7 to 112 meters above sea level, with an average around 45 meters. The coordinates are 50°01′48″N 1°51′02″E.
