Shingo Sawada (澤田真吾) is a Japanese professional shogi player. He was born on November 21, 1991, in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. Sawada became a professional on April 1, 2009, at age 17 and holds badge number 274. He currently ranks as 7-dan.

As a junior, Sawada finished third in the Elementary School Student Meijin Tournaments in 2001 and 2002, representing Mie Prefecture. He entered the Japan Shogi Association’s apprentice school in March 2004 at 6-kyū under mentor Nobuo Mori, rising to 1-dan in December 2007, then to 3-dan in April 2008. He played in the 43rd 3-dan League (April 2008–September 2008) with 8 wins and 10 losses. Sawada earned full professional status (4-dan) in April 2009 after winning the 44th 3-dan League (October 2008–March 2009) with 14 wins and 4 losses.

His teacher is Nobuo Mori, and one notable student is Riko Morimoto. Sawada received the Japan Shogi Association Annual Shogi Award for Most Consecutive Games Won for the 2020–2021 shogi year.
