The 2018 Overton's 300 was the 15th race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, held on June 30, 2018, at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. The 1.5-mile track hosted 200 laps, a 300-mile race.
Kyle Larson won for Chip Ganassi Racing. He started on the pole, led 80 laps, and came back from the rear of the field to take his 10th Xfinity win and second of his part-time season. Kevin Harvick finished second, and Cole Custer finished third, for Stewart-Haas Racing with Biagi-DenBeste. The race was split into three stages: 45 laps, 45 laps, and 110 laps.
Practice and qualifying: Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing was fastest in both Friday practice sessions. Qualifying used a three-round format. Larson won the pole with a lap of 31.071 seconds (173.8 mph). Morgan Shepherd and Mike Harmon failed to qualify.
