2017–18 FA Women's Premier League Plate

The 2017–18 FA Women's Premier League Plate was the fourth edition of the Plate, the secondary League Cup run by the FA Women's Premier League alongside the main Premier League Cup. Teams enter the Plate after losing in the determining round of the WPL Cup. All 71 clubs took part in the determining round: 36 advanced to the Cup and 35 entered the Plate. Reigning champions Lewes won their determining round match, so they did not defend their title. West Ham United won the Plate, with Luton Town as runners-up. The competition had 36 matches and 164 goals were scored in total, averaging 4.56 goals per match. The Football Association published all results. Because there were 35 teams, three preliminary rounds were played to reduce the field to 32 for a standard knockout. Eight second-round matches were due to be played on 10 December 2017, but most were postponed due to severe weather.
