Downtown Boys is a song by the Danish duo Infernal. It was released on April 14, 2008 as the lead single from their album Electric Cabaret. The duo performed the new song on Boogie Prisen, a Danish award show, on April 12, 2008. The song was released for download and sent to radio on April 14. It earned a platinum certification in Denmark based on digital downloads on July 9, 2008. It was Infernal's first single to reach number 1 on the Danish Airplay Chart, staying at the top for four weeks. Downtown Boys was the ninth most played song on Danish radio in 2008. The music video was filmed in New York from April 9 to 11, 2008 and was directed by Loic Maes, who also directed their previous videos Ten Miles and I Won’t Be Crying.
