The election was held on 7 May 2015 to elect 13 of the 39 seats on Rochford District Council in England. It was on the same day as other local elections. A majority requires 20 seats. The main parties contesting were the Conservatives, UKIP, Rochford Residents, Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Labour. The Conservatives were the largest party, with UKIP and Rochford Residents also winning seats.
