Swimming in Australia is the sport of swimming practiced in the country. It has many participants, from casual swimmers to professional athletes.

The national governing body is Swimming Australia. The Australian national team is nicknamed the Dolphins.

An attendance record for a swimming event in Australia was 17,595 spectators on 16 September 2000 at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

Frederick Lane was the first Australian swimmer to compete in the Olympic Games.
