2015 Danmark Rundt
The 2015 Danmark Rundt, also known as Post Danmark Rundt, was held from August 4 to August 8. It was the 25th edition of Denmark’s annual cycling race and part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. The race covered 878.3 km over six stages in five days, including an individual time trial on day four. The winning time was 19 hours, 42 minutes, and 19 seconds.
Christopher Juul-Jensen of Denmark won the race for Tinkoff–Saxo. Lars Bak (Denmark) finished second for Lotto–Soudal, and Marco Marcato (Italy) came in third for Wanty–Groupe Gobert. The points classification was won by Matti Breschel (Denmark) of Tinkoff–Saxo, the mountains classification by Pim Ligthart (Netherlands) of Lotto–Soudal, and the best young rider was Mads Würtz Schmidt (Denmark) of ColoQuick.
Eighteen teams participated, each with eight riders: four UCI ProTeams, nine UCI Professional Continental Teams, four UCI Continental Teams, and the Danish national team Team Post Danmark. The race featured six stages, including a short mass-start stage and the individual time trial on day four.
