2013–14 Championnat de France Amateur
The 2013–14 Championnat de France Amateur (CFA) was the league’s 16th season. Four teams were promoted to the Championnat National: FC Chambly-Thelle, SAS Épinal, Marseille Consolat and US Avranches. Eight teams moved up from CFA 2, while eighteen teams were relegated from the previous CFA season. These teams were joined by AS Cherbourg and US Quevilly from the Championnat National. The plan to drop Bourg-Péronnas, Uzès Pont du Gard and Paris FC from National was blocked by DNCG rulings, so Rouen, Le Mans FC and CS Sedan-Ardennes were relegated instead, and Bourg-Péronnas, Uzès Pont du Gard and Paris FC stayed in National. On August 6, 2013, FCA Calvi withdrew from CFA because their stadium could not be approved, leaving four spots open. As a result, FC Montceau Bourgogne, ES Viry-Châtillon, Stade Montois and Monts d'Or Azergues Foot remained in CFA.
