John Robert Fow (1869–18 September 1943) was the mayor of Hamilton, New Zealand, for four terms: 1916–1917, 1918–1919, 1920–1931, and 1933–1938. He was born in Louth, Lincolnshire, England, and moved to New Zealand with his parents as a boy. Before politics, he worked as a sawmiller, farrier and blacksmith, carriage maker, and auctioneer, and later ran a furniture business. In 1935 he received the King George V Silver Jubilee Medal. He died at his home in Hamilton in 1943.
