2009 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team
The 2009 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team represented Coastal Carolina University in the Big South Conference during the 2009 NCAA Division I FCS season. Led by seventh-year head coach David Bennett, the Chanticleers finished 5–6 overall and 3–3 in the Big South, tying for fourth place. They played home games at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina. Offensive coordinator Kevin Brown, in his first year, and defensive coordinator Curtis Walker, in his seventh year, led the units for a team that used a multiple offensive scheme and a 4–3 base defense.
