The 2002 Mercedes-Benz Cup was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the Los Angeles Tennis Center in Los Angeles, California. It was part of the ATP Tour's International Series and ran July 22–28, 2002. The singles title was won by Andre Agassi, the second seed and defending champion, who defeated Jan-Michael Gambill 6–2, 6–4. In doubles, Sébastien Grosjean and Nicolas Kiefer beat Justin Gimelstob and Michaël Llodra 6–4, 6–4. Prize money was $375,000.
