Geert Chatrou is a Dutch professional whistler. He was born on February 6, 1969, in Sint Odiliënberg, Netherlands. He began whistling at age four after his father whistled around the house. Chatrou won the International Whistler's Convention in 2004, 2005, and 2008, and he was a judge at the competition in 2010. He was named Male Entertainer of the Year in 2006 and 2010. Chatrou provided the whistling for the films Idiots and Angels and Le Petit Nicolas. He also plays the recorder and flute.
