2000 British Speedway Championship — the 40th edition. The final was on 20 May at Brandon Stadium in Coventry, and Chris Louis won the title, with Paul Hurry second and Martin Dugard third. David Howe won the British Speedway Under-21 Championship, with the final held at Armadale Stadium on 7 April.
