1984–85 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup

The 1984–85 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the sixth World Cup season. It started on December 8, 1984 in Thunder Bay, Canada, and finished on March 24, 1985 in Štrbské Pleso, Czechoslovakia. Matti Nykänen of Finland won the overall World Cup, and Finland won the Nations Cup. There were 21 individual events at 16 venues across 12 countries on three continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). Two events were cancelled.

Season highlights included the FIS Nordic World Championships, the Ski Flying World Championships, the Four Hills Tournament, the Bohemia Tournament, and the K.O.P. International Ski Flying Week. At the Planica World Championships training on March 15, 1985, the world record was broken three times in about an hour: Mike Holland (USA) jumped 186 metres, and Matti Nykänen jumped 187 metres and then 191 metres.
