1980 Tour de France, Stage 11 to Stage 22
Stage 11 to Stage 22 of the 1980 Tour de France featured a mix of time trials, long rides through the mountains, and a grand finish on the Champs-Élysées.
On July 8, Stage 11 was a 51 km individual time trial from Damazan to Laplume. The next day, July 9, Stage 12 ran 193.5 km from Agen to Pau. July 10’s Stage 13 connected Pau to Bagnères-de-Luchon over 198 km. On July 11, Stage 14 traveled 189.5 km from Lézignan-Corbières to Montpellier. Stage 15 on July 12 covered 158 km from Montpellier to Martigues. July 13’s Stage 16 stretched 207.5 km from Trets to Pra-Loup. Stage 17 on July 14 went 244.5 km from Serre Chevalier to Morzine.
After a rest day, Stage 18 on July 16 ran 196 km from Morzine to Prapoutel Les sept Laux. Stage 19 on July 17 covered 136.5 km from Voreppe to Saint-Étienne. Stage 20 on July 18 was a 34.5 km individual time trial in Saint-Étienne. On July 19, Stage 21 went 207 km from Auxerre to Fontenay-sous-Bois. The race ended the next day, July 20, with Stage 22 from Fontenay-sous-Bois to Paris Champs-Élysées, a 183.3 km ride.
