1973 Davis Cup Eastern Zone

The 1973 Davis Cup Eastern Zone was one of three regional zones. Ten teams entered, with eight teams playing in the preliminary rounds to join the previous year's finalists, Australia and India, in the main draw. The winner of the main draw would move on to the Inter-Zonal Zone to face the winners of the Americas and Europe zones. Australia defeated India in the Eastern Zone final and progressed to the Inter-Zonal Zone.
