YJ-7
YJ-7 (C-701) is a Chinese subsonic anti-ship missile developed by CASIC’s Third Academy. It weighs 117 kg and carries a 30.5 kg semi armor-piercing high-explosive warhead. The rocket-powered missile has a range of about 25 km and flies at subsonic speed. It can be guided by active radar or electro-optical systems and can be launched from ground, ships, or aircraft. The export version is called C-701, which was shown by CPMIEC at the 2004 China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. Although developed by CASIC, Iran’s AIO claimed it as a national program. In 2006, reports said radar-guided C-701 missiles were fired during Iranian exercises.
