1961 Wheaton Crusaders football team
The 1961 Wheaton Crusaders football team represented Wheaton College as an independent during the 1961 college football season. In head coach Jack Swartz’s first season, the Crusaders went 8–0, outscoring opponents 217 to 37. Tackle Dave "The Bear" Kemna played on both offense and defense and earned a second-team spot on the 1961 Little All-America team. Co-captain Dave Iha was named the team’s most valuable player. Home games were played at McCully Field in Wheaton, Illinois.
