1903 Argentine Primera División
The 1903 Argentine Primera División was the 12th season of top‑flight football in Argentina. The season ran from April 26 to August 9. The league expanded to six teams, with each team playing the others twice, for a total of 30 matches and 116 goals (about 3.87 per match).
Alumni won their fourth consecutive league title, with Jorge Brown of Alumni as the top scorer with 12 goals. The biggest home win was Alumni 6–0 Flores, and the biggest away win was Flores 0–12 Barracas A.C.
Flores A.C., which had left the league in 1898, returned under the name Club Atlético de Flores. Alumni’s first league defeat in four years came on July 26, 1903.
In 1903 the association changed its name from The Argentine Association Football League to the Argentine Football Association.
