Restrepo is a town and municipality in Valle del Cauca Department, western Colombia. It is mostly in the mountains and covers about 135 square kilometers, at an elevation of around 1,400 meters. As of 2015, about 16,200 people lived there. The economy is mainly farming and animal husbandry. Main products include bananas, pineapples, sugar cane, beans, fruits, vegetables and corn.

Restrepo was founded on December 1, 1913 by Julio Fernandez Medina, Anselmo Rendón and Nicanor Grisales and other settlers. It became an official municipality on April 3, 1925. The time zone is Colombia Standard Time (UTC-5).
