1864 United States presidential election in Ohio
On November 8, 1864, Ohio voters chose 21 electors for the Electoral College. Incumbent President Abraham Lincoln, running with Andrew Johnson for the National Union, defeated Democratic candidate George B. McClellan and his running mate George H. Pendleton. Lincoln won Ohio with 56.37% of the vote to McClellan’s 43.63%, a margin of 12.74 percentage points, earning all 21 of Ohio’s electoral votes.
