Waltz for Koop is the second studio album by the Swedish electronic duo Koop. It was released on 21 November 2001 and runs 34 minutes and 52 seconds. The music blends electronic, acid jazz, and downtempo styles and was issued by Sony Music Entertainment Sweden. The album was produced by Oscar Simonsson and Magnus Zingmark. This was Koop’s first album to chart in the United States, peaking at number 17 on Billboard’s Top Electronic Albums. The tracks were recorded and mixed by Mats “Limpan” Lindfors. About two years after the release, a remix album called Waltz for Koop: Alternative Takes was issued.
