180th Battalion (Sportsmen), CEF

The 180th (Sportsmen) Battalion, CEF was a Canadian Army unit in World War I. Based in Toronto, Ontario, it began recruiting in winter 1915–16. The battalion sailed to England in November 1916, and on January 6, 1917, it was absorbed into the 3rd Reserve Battalion. Its only commanding officer was Lieutenant-Colonel R. H. Greer.
