Attack on the Pin-Up Boys
Attack on the Pin-Up Boys is a 2007 South Korean high school mystery comedy film. It’s the first film from SM Pictures and stars almost all the members of the boy band Super Junior, with Kyuhyun unable to participate due to injuries sustained in a car accident. The film is also known as Flower Boys’ Series of Terror Events.
Plot in simple terms
A string of attacks on popular high school students—so-called flower boys—begins on the 14th of each month, starting on Valentine’s Day. Two students, Kibum and Donghae, decide to investigate who is behind the attacks. Meanwhile, Heechul and Kangin try to become the next targets to boost their own popularity. The case draws national attention, and the media dubs it Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, which makes the victims more famous. As the months go by, more clues emerge, and the story blends high school life with online culture and celebrity obsession. The latest attack happens on May 14, and the investigation builds toward a surprising conclusion, with Donghae becoming the final victim as the mystery winds down.
