13th Infantry Regiment (Imperial Japanese Army)

13th Infantry Regiment was a unit of the Imperial Japanese Army. It belonged to the 6th Division, within the 6th Infantry Brigade. The regiment fought in the Second Sino-Japanese War and later served in World War II as part of the Japanese Seventeenth Army on Bougainville Island in the Solomon Islands.
