Nick Collier, born 23 September 1988 in London, is an English drag queen and actor known as Ella Vaday. He grew up in Dagenham, East London, and studied performing arts at Bird College. He started as a backup dancer for Olly Murs and Eoghan Quigg on The X Factor. His theatre work includes The Book of Mormon, Cats, Fame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, and Wicked. He also ran a dog-walking business. As Ella Vaday, he competed on RuPaul's Drag Race UK series 3. In Snatch Game he impersonated Nigella Lawson, a performance praised as iconic. He was a finalist, lip-syncing to You Don’t Own Me. He appeared as Ella Vaday in Sumotherhood, a film released in November 2023. His social media grew from about 6,000 to 30,000 followers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
