Zhenge
Zhenge (Mongolian: Жэнгэ хатан; Chinese: 真哥; died 1327) was an empress consort of the Yuan dynasty and wife of Külüg Khan (Emperor Wuzong). She came from the Khongirad clan, the daughter of Bengbula and granddaughter of Tuolian. Her aunt Tegülün Khatun was married to Kublai Khan, and she had a brother named Maizhuhan. Külüg Khan made her empress in 1310. She had no children and left the palace in 1313 to become a Buddhist nun (bhikkhuni). Zhenge died in November 1327 and was buried next to her husband. She was posthumously honored as Empress Xuanci Huisheng (宣慈惠聖皇后) by Yesün Temür, meaning “Kind, virtuous and holy empress.”
