Zayne Anderson is an American football safety for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He was born on January 3, 1997, in Stansbury Park, Utah. He played college football at BYU, appearing in 50 games and recording 162 tackles (105 solo) while overcoming injuries that caused him to redshirt twice.

Undrafted in 2021, Anderson signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He started on the practice squad and was promoted to the active roster in December 2021. He was part of the Chiefs team that won Super Bowl LVII. In 2022, he was waived and then signed to the Chiefs’ practice squad.

In February 2023, Anderson signed a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills but was waived at the end of August. He was claimed off waivers by the Green Bay Packers on August 31, 2023. He played in 10 games for the Packers in 2023, recording four total tackles.

In 2024, Anderson appeared in 16 games with two starts, totaling 16 tackles, one interception, and two pass deflections. His first career interception came on December 23, 2024, against the New Orleans Saints, catching a pass thrown by Spencer Rattler. In 2025, he appeared in 14 games, with two fumble recoveries and 15 tackles. On December 31, 2025, the Packers placed him on season-ending injured reserve after an ankle injury in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Known for his size and speed, Anderson has played multiple positions and has drawn comparisons to former BYU star and Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen.
