Álvaro Díaz Pérez (1950–13 December 2021) was a Chilean economist and politician from the Socialist Party. He served as Undersecretary of the Economy and Small Businesses from March 11, 2000 to June 29, 2004. From 2007 to 2010 he was Chile's Ambassador to Brazil, during President Michelle Bachelet's administration. He died on December 13, 2021, at about 70–71 years old.
