Yuri Ancarani (born 31 January 1972) is an Italian filmmaker, video artist and documentarian from Ravenna. After graduating from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, he began creating video art, including the Romagna series Ricordi per moderni. From 2010 to 2012 he released a trilogy about work—Il capo, Piattaforma luna and Da Vinci—which played at Venice and Rome film festivals. His first feature, The Challenge (2017), follows a falconer at a major Qatar tournament; it premiered at Locarno and won the Ciné+ Special Jury Prize. In 2021 his docufiction Atlantide premiered in the Horizons section at Venice and earned a nomination for best documentary at the David di Donatello awards. In 2023 his documentary Il popolo delle donne screened at Venice in the Giornate degli Autori.
