Yamanashi Science Museum
Yamanashi Science Museum (山梨県立科学館) is a science museum in Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Opened in 1998, it focuses on astronomy and technology. The museum used to be at Kofu Castle, but moved to its current location in 1998 during castle renovations. It features a planetarium, an astronomical observatory dome, exhibition rooms, a hands-on learning room, and a library. It’s about a 25-minute walk from the north exit of Kōfu Station, in Atago-cho.
