Ciudad Barrios
Ciudad Barrios is a city in the San Miguel department of El Salvador. It covers about 26 square miles (68 square kilometers) and sits about 2,972 feet (906 meters) above sea level. In 2024, about 23,256 people lived there, with around 10,234 in the town itself. The city is known for its culture and attractions and is the birthplace of Archbishop Óscar Romero, the first Salvadoran saint.
