Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts
Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts is a government-funded, co-educational secondary school in Fairy Meadow, Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. It specializes in performing arts. The school serves students in Years 7–12 and is run by the NSW Department of Education. The principal is Kylie Woods. It has about 1,190 students (2018) and around 86 teaching staff. The school’s colours are green, black and yellow, and its motto is "Age Quod Agis" meaning "Whatever you do, do well." About one third of students gain entry through auditions. The school opened in 1916. It began as Wollongong Home Science School for girls on Smith Street and was the only high school between Sydney and the Victorian border.
