Maciej Musiał (football manager)

Maciej Musiał (born 8 February 1977) is a Polish football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the manager of Stal Stalowa Wola, a team in the II liga (the second level of Polish football).

Playing career
- He started in Wisła Kraków’s system and played for several clubs, including Clepardia Kraków, Wieczysta Kraków, MZKS Alwernia, and Górnik Wieliczka. He spent most of his playing days at Górnik Wieliczka (2000–2008).
- He also played futsal for Wisła Kraków during the 2000s.

Coaching career
- Musiał began coaching at Górnik Wieliczka (2009–2010).
- He joined Wisła Kraków as an assistant in 2012, later leading the reserve team (2013–2015/2016) and then returning to the first team (2015–2016).
- He worked as an assistant at Pogoń Szczecin (2016–2017), Sandecja Nowy Sącz (2018), ŁKS Łódź (2018–2020), and Zagłębie Sosnowiec (2020–2021).
- On 24 June 2021, he became manager of Garbarnia Kraków, extending the deal in July 2022 after a top-half finish in II liga.
- In 2023 he managed Wieczysta Kraków until September 2023.
- He then took charge of Hutnik Kraków on 27 March 2024 and stayed until the end of the 2024–25 season, leaving on 19 May 2025 after 42 official matches.
- On 15 October 2025, he was named manager of Stal Stalowa Wola in the II liga, with a contract to 30 June 2026 and an option to extend.

Family
- He is the son of Adam Musiał, a former Poland international and manager.
